Questions
17 answers about crm.
17 answers
Why not use a ready-made CRM?
They suit many teams, and we will say so if one suits you. A custom CRM makes sense when you pay for features you never use, or bend your work to fit the tool.
Can you move our old data in?
Yes. Send us what you have, like spreadsheets or an export, and we plan the move as part of the scope.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Your team can check leads and log follow-ups from a phone.
What is a CRM?
Customer relationship management: one shared place for every lead and customer, what was said, and what happens next. It replaces the chats, notebooks and spreadsheets.
How long does a custom CRM take?
Usually 4 to 8 weeks. Your team tries a first version after two or three weeks, so it fits before it is finished.
How much does a custom CRM cost?
From RM 1,990, with no fee per user. More stages, roles, data and links to other tools add to it. After one call you get one fixed price for the whole plan, before we start.
Do we pay for each user?
No. Add as many staff as you need. The only running cost is hosting, billed to your own account, and it stays small for most teams.
Can we start small and add more later?
Yes, and we suggest it. Start with leads, stages and reminders. Add quotes, WhatsApp or reports when your team is ready.
Can we change our stages later?
Yes. Stages, fields and reminder rules are set up to change as you grow. Bigger changes are priced before they start.
Will my team actually use it?
That is why we build it around the steps they already use, let them try it early, and train them before launch. Less typing than a spreadsheet is the goal.
Can leads from Facebook and Instagram ads come in?
Often, yes, along with your website forms. Tell us where your leads come from in the brief, and we check each source before we price the work.
Can it send WhatsApp messages?
Every record has a button that opens a WhatsApp chat. Sending and logging messages from the CRM itself uses the WhatsApp Business API, which Meta charges for per conversation.
Can it make quotes and invoices?
Yes, as an add-on. Make a PDF quote or invoice from a deal, in your own layout, and keep a copy on the record.
Where is our customer data kept?
In a hosting account in your company’s name, backed up every day. You can export all of it to Excel at any time.
Is our customer data safe, and PDPA-friendly?
Everyone logs in, each person sees only what their role allows, and changes can be logged. We help you keep only what you need, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Does it need the internet?
Yes. It runs in a web browser, so there is nothing to install. On a phone, mobile data is enough.
Are we tied to Podalls after launch?
No. The CRM, its code and its data sit in your own account. We are happy to look after it, but any developer can take it over.
