What this version does not do, said plainly.
- Without FFmpeg the app saves the best single file available, usually 720p. The installer includes FFmpeg, and the video tools section of Settings shows whether it is there.
- Sizes above 1080p may use a newer codec than H.264, which some older players cannot open.
- Dedicated video handling currently recognises YouTube addresses; it does not support every video website. For other sites, use a direct link to the video file.
- Only download content when you have the necessary rights and the source permits downloading. Public access does not by itself grant permission to download or reuse content.

Is MP4 always guaranteed?
No. Source formats and the available tools determine the output. The app prefers MP4, but a fallback may use another available format.
Why is the resolution lower than I selected?
The source may not provide that resolution, or the video tools may be missing. The video tools section of Settings shows each tool as Installed or Missing; reinstalling the app puts them back.
Can I reduce the file size?
Select a lower resolution before you download, or use Compress video in Podalls Convert afterwards.
Will it play on every device?
Compatibility depends on the codec and the player. H.264 is preferred for that reason, but no format plays everywhere.
