How it works

Open a file from Reader, drop it on the window, or right-click it › Open with.

Search, zoom, jump through the outline, or switch to the two-page book layout.

Close it. Next time it reopens on the same page.

What you get

Thumbnails, bookmarks, search, zoom, print, and a two-page layout turned like a book.

Choose typeface, size, spacing and colours; pages turn with the keys, the wheel or a click.

Each document reopens on the page you left, and each book at the same point.

Plain-text novels get chapters from lines such as “Chapter 3”, “Bab 3” or Roman numerals.

Good to know

DRM-protected EPUBs cannot be opened.
Kindle formats (MOBI, AZW) are not supported.
E-books are shown with their own text styling kept simple: bold, italic and centring.

First time? The install guide shows every screen, including the Windows warning.

Can it replace my default PDF app?

You can open PDFs with it any time through right-click › Open with. The installer adds it there without taking over your default app.

Why does the page count restart in a book?

E-books have no fixed pages, so they are laid out and numbered per chapter. The status bar says “in this chapter”.
