Reading, editing and converting happen on your computer. Downloads go straight to your disk, and nothing waits on a server.

Yes. Both apps are free to download and use, with no account and no subscription. Donations are optional and change nothing about what you get.
No. Podalls Convert does all its work on your PC and only goes online to check for updates. Podalls Downloader only contacts the links you give it, and GitHub for updates. While a magnet link downloads, BitTorrent exchanges pieces of it with other people, as BitTorrent always does.
Yes. Podalls Convert turns PDFs with selectable text into Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and EPUB on your own PC, with no internet connection needed. It also edits, compresses, merges and splits PDFs.
Paste the video’s address into Podalls Downloader. It saves the video as MP4, or its sound only as M4A. Then press Convert on the finished download, and Podalls Convert turns it into MP3, FLAC, WAV or another sound format.

Yes, for now. The installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen does not recognise them. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Each app’s own updates are signed with its own key, so only our builds can replace it.
